Lake Okataina is a pristine wonder, mysterious and of historical significance to local Maori. during the eruption of Mt Tarawera this lake was changed dramatically. Beautiful and worthy of our awe and respect.
We explore the Lake and share with you it's cultural history and significance.
The Lake has crystal clear waters and some historic sites.
Exploring around the shore, we can always find a beautiful beach all to ourselves to swim and enjoy.
Lunch is included.
